Artist statement

What lies behind or in front of us is of little importance compared to what we have within us.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

My sweet inner voice waited patiently for me in the shadows and then I finally listened to it; the one who whispers the desires of my heart.

I give him permission to change me, to start a new life by listening to him. I was created for this. His presence influences what I paint, what I create. The wind blows where it wants and we hear its sound but we don't know where it comes from or where it goes.

I believe we are all born to create. Within us we have beauty, resources and energy. I create to show my wonder at His creation.

I create to show that the invisible is more important than the visible. I create what I lack with simplicity and intuition.

The important thing is to start and then you won't be able to stop.
