“Starry Nights” is a series of winter landscapes. Less abstract than other series, I wanted to convey naiveté and wonder at the magic of these star-studded nights. In successive layers of paper and ink, pastels and acrylics, the landscapes emerge. What if slowing down to observe the sky offered us moments of wonder and calm? Through the darkness, paint the light and dream.
