Wild Roses

Wild Roses

The days are getting longer and I watch for the appearance of flowers and leaves, the change in the air, this quivering that runs through nature which announces spring. But in the east of France, you have to know how to be patient. If you lack patience like me, why not create them while you wait for them? My very first flower painting, a dark red rose, was inspired by my friend Nathalie whose courage and wisdom impress me.

Join me in my workshop in a few weeks “Beautiful roses” where I will guide you to
through all the stages. I love helping others to create, to be proud of their works and to discover their
creative voice. There is so much joy in creating, in finding the freedom to play with colors and
shapes.
And if you don't feel comfortable or lack experience, the mixed media technique is for you
for you. It's fun, relaxing, intuitive and a perfect adventure for beginners.
Layer by layer, through collages, inks and paint, your flowers will reveal themselves
as you see them, as you feel them. I prefer them done not realistically but
spontaneous, intuitive, halfway between the abstract and the impressionist. I feel much freer there.
