Something new 2/10

This seascape is an original acrylic artwork painted on watercolor paper 300 g. Sheet size A5 14,5 x 21 cm or 5,8 x 8.3 in, painting size 11 x 17 cm or 4,4 x6.7 in. 

This serie reflects the beauty of creation and the horizon is lost sight.  In the long format of  postcards, inspired by childhood memories, I wanted to pay tribute to the quiet beauty of the seascape, like a holiday souvenir that you take with you to make the happiness last. Revisit the horizons and breathe in the peace and immensity that lies before us.
Why do the ocean and its skies remain fascinating subjects? Perhaps because they bring back memories of my childhood travels, when my parents would take us to Corsica and the Landes, Normandy and Brittany.  And where, with my little camera, I was already capturing the sunsets after a day spent in the waves and sand. 
Creativity is different for everyone, but it vibrates within us. It gives us access to what's inside us, to our deepest nature.

Brushstrokes, blue washes, touches of colour, I want to return to the beaches of my childhood, in Brittany or Normandy, where the wind shapes the sea. Where the sky is always changing and the clouds are pure poetry.

This piece comes with a certificate of authenticty and is signed on the front, as well as back where it is also dated. 
This is an original artwork, which means that the painting and sheet have imperfections and possible bumps and marks that of course make it unique ! The paintings are packaged carefully in a kraft envelope to avoid bending and moisture to keep them perfect during
