This collection was a surprise for me, an inner journey, a rediscovery. I love this serie because it's all raw emotion, no description. Each island is a world in itself, shaped by light and waves. A reunion with an inner world. Always in motion.

I made this collection by series of 4 pieces at the same time.I loved this process, which was like a meditation. I placed and glued torn paper, pieces of text and torn colored paper. I glued these little worlds together and then let the ink and pastels, the acrylic juice and the doodles go.

The outside world that called to me: work and home, family demands and the inner world that waited tenaciously for me every evening. I closed the door and in the darkness of the office, I created under the electric halo. I had the feeling of being guided, each choice provoked an event and then things came together naturally.

Surprisingly, landscapes reminiscent of the sea emerged. Waves and suns, rocks and horizons.
