What lies behind or in front of us is of little importance compared to what we have within us.” R. W. Emerson

My sweet inner voice waited patiently for me in the shadows and then I finally listened to it; the one who whispers the desires of my heart. I give him permission to change me, to start a new life by listening to him. I was created for this. His presence influences what I paint, what I create. The wind blows where it wants and we hear its sound but we don't know where it comes from or where it goes.

I believe we are all born to create. Within us we have beauty, resources and energy. I create to show my wonder at His creation. I create to show that the invisible is more important than the visible. I create what I lack with simplicity and intuition.

I paint for myself, I paint to rediscover what makes no noise: the light on the wild grass, the quiver of a sky before the rain, the scent of flowers, the wind that swirls the leaves.
I paint to slow down the world. Each canvas is an impression, an emotion, an inner landscape where beauty reminds us that we are alive, loved and carried by something greater. A poetic painting for nature lovers.
I invite nature into the home as a silent eulogy hanging on the wall.
I believe that art can heal, soothe and uplift.
I believe that colours have a memory and textures a voice.
I believe it's time to get back to basics, to the poetry of simple, profound things.
My paintings are not objects. They are refuges. Soft lights for lovers of the sky, the earth and beauty. They convey serenity and peace.
I paint for nature lovers who are moved by the dewdrops and colours of the sky. The movement of the waves and the incredible beauty of the creation that surrounds us. Rain is a gift from heaven that transforms and nourishes the earth.
Welcome to my world.
Sit back. Breathe in. Let the light in.

The important thing is to start and then you won't be able to stop.
