Starry Nights 1, Misty landscape

This imaginary landscape is an original mixed media artwork painted on watercolor paper 300g. in a wooden frame. Frame size 20 x 20 cm or 7,9 x 7, 9 in. Sheet size 13x 13 cm or 5 x 5 in.

Starry Nights 1, « Misty landscape » was created during the fall and the winter 2023. 
Looking at the sky is part of my daily routine, my open-air art gallery of ever-changing horizons. When life seems overwhelming under the weight of constant demands, painting becomes my refuge. 

I want to live in enchanted landscapes that remind me of childhood images, illustrations in old books, enchanted landscapes. To take my time, to see my soul restored by contemplating the stars, the immensity of the sky.

Look : imagine yourself walking through this serene landscape, breathing in the scent of the night. The moon is rising. The stars pierce the sky, the shifting grasses make waves. 
When I walk through these landscapes in my imagination, I'm not alone.
