October is the month of color !

The month of transformation

October is the season of colors and an incredible season of change and diversity. Everywhere you look, there are multicolored berries, leaves in incredible colors, changing light, and the comfort of a hot cup of tea after a walk through crunchy leaves.

Autumn is my favorite season because everything changes and is in motion. Clouds gather and form small blankets over the plains, and in the evening, mist gently settles. When they are not pushed by the wind, they race across a threatening gray sky and stormy skies.

These are part of a new collection I’m slowly building that talks about winds and waves and cloudy skies.

I had long wanted to offer simple videos showing how I create my paintings, what tools and techniques I use. 

I have been a teacher for 30 years and now I teach my online classes I know from experience that everyone is creative, and sometimes all it takes is a little push to get started! Creativity is part of everyone, and with help and guidance, anyone can paint and be proud of themselves! Creating is essential for our well beeing and our happiness. We are born to be creative !
